The '''2016 Moorooka bus attack''' was an arson attack and murder that occured when Anthony Mark Edward O'Donohue torched [[Brisbane Transport]] bus [[1980|S1980]], killing the driver, Manmeet Alishair, and trapping all other customers onboard. All other customers were rescued by bystanders. S1980 was later written off and scrapped.

==Legacy==
In 2017, in memory of Manmeet, [[Brisbane City Council]] founded Manmeet's Paradise, a park not far from the site of the attack.
