This category lists all Western Digital drives that are members of the WD Marvell family Venice RP. It succeeds Apollo CR and Venice R, increasing the density over the former, and removing the need for SMR for the latter. Unusually, though they are CMR, these require TRIM, which their successor, Venice RP2L, lacks despite being of the same platter capacity.
