The Australian Enthusiasts Wiki is a wiki dedicated to Australian enthusiasts such as elevator/lift, train and bus photographers.
Concept[edit source]
The Australian Enthusiasts Wiki was based on the late New Zealand Elevator Guide Wiki, which was shut down by Fandom for unknown reasons. Since this wiki is not run by Fandom (but by TheDragonFire123, a fellow enthusiast), this wiki is unlikely to suffer this fate.
This wiki aims to accomplish a similar goal to what Alex set out to; to supplement existing global wikis such as Elevatorpedia, and enhance itself with Australian specific content. Many of Australia's unique havens for us enthusiasts get left behind in other wikis, and so we set out to fill in that gap.
