599 is a Busways Group NSW bus. 599 originally formed part of the King Bros Group fleet prior to Busways taking over from KBG.
Prior to Busways, this bus was numbered 6 in the KBG fleet, and registered MO 5224.
In 2020, 599 was transferred from Port Macquarie to Grafton. In 2021, 599 was repainted into the New Busways livery. In 2022, as part of a network review, 599 was transferred from Grafton to Yamba.
