This category lists all Western Digital drives that are members of the WD Marvell family Avalon CR. This family is characterised by HGST Ultrastar HDAs but Western Digital firmware, RN, WWN and spindle motor, similar to the Toshiba DT02 and P300 SMR drives (which have Hitachi Deskstar HDAs but Toshiba firmware, WWN and spindle motor). Compared to Avalon C5, this family can only hold four platters.
