This category lists all Western Digital drives that are members of the WD Marvell family Hawk. Hawk succeeds the previous Pioneer V, increasing the density to 80 - 83.3 GB per platter. Hawk was only available on SATA drives; Starling is identical to Hawk in most respects, but does use the older PATA standard.
