Tahoe XL is the newest of the five Tahoe platforms, releasing in 2013 parallel to Tresselb, of which it served as a 500 GB alternative platform. Tahoe XL is the only non-Advanced Format desktop drive platform to bear a serial number that starts with WCC, like Tresselb, rather than WCA.
