Future disambiguators for buses sharing fleet numbers?[edit source]
This bus shares its fleet number with a past incarnation. Currently, we're handling this by placing a (2) in the disambiguator (that is, everything in brackets).
This does look clunky, however IMO. Some questions I suppose we should answer:
- Should we give preferential treatment to the most recent bus? That is, should this one have the base 79 article?
- Should we use years to disambiguate buses? For example, 79 (Clarks Logan City Bus Service, 2003)?
