Skins define the appearance of the MediaWiki software. Each skin has a unique appearance and layout.

Skins are configurable in Special:Preferences if you are logged in.

Refreshed

This skin is the AEW default. It is "a clean, modern MediaWiki skin with extensive customisability". Most of this wiki's templates and pages are made primarily with this skin in mind, so it is the most well-supported skin.

Cosmos

This skin primary is designed to emulate Oasis, a skin exclusive to FANDOM. It is recommended for users who are primarily FANDOM based.

MonoBook

This skin is that of Wikipedia until the 2010s. Its simplicity may be valued over the more modern designed skins above.

Timeless

Timeless is another responsive skin, this time looking much more original to the Wikimedia Foundation typical look.

Vector

Vector is the archetypal MediaWiki appearance, the one most familiar to the world as the skin that powers Wikipedia. Those who edit on Wikipedia frequently using the default skin might find themselves at home when using Vector.
