If you would like me to film a particular elevator, train, bus or hard drive, you can make it happen; provided that it meets the following rules.
1. Must be reasonable[edit | edit source]
Your request must not place undue requirement on me to go out and film it. Defining this is subject-specific, so find your topic area below for more detail.
Elevators[edit | edit source]
I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Anything in the immediately surrounding LGAs (e.g. Ipswich, MBRC, Logan) is also fair game. Other locations are too far away to be valuable for a single elevator alone. The location must not be dangerous to film; don't try suggesting anything with a stupidly high security prescence or turnstiles.
| Example | Good or bad? | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Liftronic MRL traction elevator to Platform 2 at Cultural Centre busway station | Good | This elevator falls within the distance requirements. |
| Kone TranSys MRL traction elevator 1 at IKEA Tempe | Bad | This elevator is in New South Wales; an entirely different state. Suggesting this would be implicitly implying that you want me to purchase an airline ticket just for the sole purpose of filming this one tiny lift. |
Hard drives[edit | edit source]
If you would like to see a modern drive, make sure that it is easily sold in Australia. I'm not importing a drive from some dodgy Chinese website.
If you would like to see an old, discontinued drive, please note that unlike other HDD enthusiasts, I do not engage in buying old drives off eBay or other sources. That means that the only sources of old drives I have are kerbside collection salvages and other odd finds here and there. With that in mind, I can't gurantee that I will find the old drive you're looking for, so don't try naming one in particular. I would love to as well, but it's all up to fate.
