This category lists all Western Digital drives that are members of the WD Marvell family Midori. Midori is the Japanese word for green, referring to this family's 5,000 RPM spindle speed. It is one of three Marvell families that spin at 5,000 RPM and use ~320 GB platters, the others being Gekko and Kermit, which all have larger platter capacity HDAs. All known Midori family members are part of the Western Digital AV-GP family. Midori is a 5,000 RPM version of Pinclite, sharing the same last three letters in the R/N and also platter dnesity.
