This category lists all Western Digital drives that are members of the WD Marvell family Pinclite (short for Pinnacle Lite). Pinnacle succeeds STG Twin Lakes, increasing density from 250 to 320 GB/platter. Compared to its successor, Pinnacle is very similar to STG Twin Lakes, even keeping the same R/N, using the same spindle motor as STG Twin Lakes and also integrating its cache RAM into the MCU; Pinclite once again splits the cache and MCU into separate chips.
