This category lists all Western Digital drives that are members of the WD Marvell family Kermit. It is one of three 5,000 RPM hard drive families representing the 5,000 RPM 320 - 333 GB/platter generation, the others being Midori and Gekko. Of those three, Kermit represents the highest platter count and capacity. Its 7,200 RPM counterpart is Mars. As with other 320 - 334 GB/platter WD Marvell families except Pinnacle, Pinclite and Midori, Kermit used two different R/Ns and PCBs; early versions used the Pinnacle PCB, R/N and spindle motor, and have a "B0" customer configuration code. Later versions switched to the Pinclite PCB, R/N and spindle motor, represented by a "B1" customer configuration code.
