Route 66 (South East Queensland)

Route 66 was a high capacity bus route operated by Transport for Brisbane. In 2019, it was Brisbane's busiest bus route. Most buses that operated on the route are articulated buses such as Volvo B8RLEAs, with lower capacity buses being used during off-peak periods. This route was succeeded by the Brisbane Metro M2.

History

Route 66 was one of several bus routes impacted by a major overhaul performed to UQ Lakes busway station; during this period, the route was modified so that it would operate as a "loop" back to RBWH.
