Route 66 was a high capacity bus route operated by Transport for Brisbane. In 2019, it was Brisbane's busiest bus route.[1] Most buses that operated on the route are articulated buses such as Volvo B8RLEAs, with lower capacity buses being used during off-peak periods. This route was succeeded by the Brisbane Metro M2.

History[edit | edit source]

Route 66 was one of several bus routes impacted by a major overhaul performed to UQ Lakes busway station; during this period, the route was modified so that it would operate as a "loop" back to RBWH.
