Australian Enthusiasts Wiki:Policy
From Australian Enthusiasts Wiki
Australian Enthusiasts Wiki has policies that must be abided by in order to continue editing. A unexhaustive list of policies, along with a short summary, follows.
Editing
- Vandalism: Do not willfully damage the wiki.
- Edit warring: Do not repeatedly revert other users, even if they too revert you.
Civility
- No personal attacks: Do not disparage, threaten, insult or attack other editors.
- Harassment: Do not take intentional steps to harm another editor's experience.
- No legal threats: Do not threaten to sue or take legal action against another editor or Freosan Studios.
Discussion
- No personal commentary on articles: Do not post your own personal comments to articles; use the talk page for this.
- Off topic postings on talk pages: Please keep posts on talk pages on topic.
Accounts
- Sockpuppetry: Except under valid circumstances, do not abuse multiple accounts.
Userspace content
- Userspace content: We allow biographies about yourself in your userspace. We are not a webhost, meaning that we will not host content that does not help the wiki, such as blogs.
Discipline
- Blocking policy: Administrators may block accounts, which removes their editing priviledges.
- Appeals: Provided one has not had their talk page access revoked, blocked editors may appeal their sanctions.
- Block evasion: Once you are blocked, do not attempt to evade it.
Files
- Media rules and guidelines: File uploads are allowed by experienced editors. Please only publish the content allowed.
Administrator conduct
- Involved administrators: Please do not use your administrator tools in order to enforce your preferred revision, page or other condition when other users have objected.
- Wheel warring: Do not reinstate a reverted administrator action.
